K – Drama Review: Remember Episode 6

Hello Dramatics! I’m back again with another exciting and intense episode of Remember. I hope you all are having a great holiday with friends and family. Because of the busy holiday season I will be highlighting the most important parts in this review. I hope you all enjoy! Without further adieu, lets jump right into Episode 6.

We left off with Jin Woo in court calling his witness to the stand. It is the former teacher of the intern. She accused him of sexual assault, but we quickly find out that they never went to court about this matter because it was settled between both parties. We also learned that the two of them were lovers. Lee In Ah is upset that the intern did not reveal this information to her at the beginning. Now knowing this, she tells the intern it may be difficult to win.

We see Jin Woo in the car talking to the interns former teacher. We learn that 4 years ago he was gambling illegally and Jin Woo has evidence of this. The teacher asked Jin Woo how did he know about this and he said he remembered everything about him, even what he was wearing. The man exits the vehicle and Dong Ho walks over to Jin Woo to have a chat. Dong Ho asks him why did he take on the case, is it perhaps to save his father? Or did you take on the case to catch Nam Gyu Man? Jin Woo said its for more reasons than just that.

Lee In Ah and her boss are having lunch until he gets a call from the head prosecutor. We quickly discover its the same one from Jin Woo’s fathers trial. He was responsible for sentencing him to death. Lee In Ah is shocked to see him. She is reluctant to shake his hand, but she does.

At his office, Jin Woo tells the stuttering attorney that there must be video evidence of the assault that happened on the intern. He tells Jin Woo that there were no recordings in the parking lot nor a black box in the Vice Presidents car. Jin Woo says maybe another car nearby has something recorded. He then orders the stuttering attorney to go out and find the evidence.

Jin Woo and his office manager are looking at the bored of everyone connected to this fathers case. He sees a picture of Nam Gyu Man’s sister. Jin Woo realizes that one way to get to Nam Gyu Man is through his sister. We then see Dong Ho and his father figure talking to Nam Gyu Man’s father. He tells Dong Ho that the Vice President cannot win the trial. He tells the father figure to proceed with the plan and to fill Dong Ho in on the details. Dong Ho and his father figure  talk and we learn that Nam Gyu Man’s father was in on the plan to sabotage the Vice President from the beginning. That’s right…he set the entire episode up. He did this in order to protect his son. Dong Ho was shocked to hear this news for he did not know this was happening.

We then see Jin Woo as he follows Nam Gyu Man’s sister. She is on a date with her boyfriend the younger judge. Jin Woo gets a phone call from Lee In Ah who is drunk at a bar. He goes to where she is and the two talk for a while. When she tries to stand up to leave she almost colapses. Jin Woo carries her out of the bar and her family sees Lee In Ah and they take her home. Jin Woo follows and he has dinner with her family. They ask Jin Woo about becoming a lawyer and how is father is doing. It’s Christmastime and when Jin Woo sees the tree,  we flashback when he was spending time with his father on Christmas and celebrating his birthday.

Jin Woo visits hes father in prison. He does not remember his son. Jin Woo takes out his mothers wedding ring and shows it to his father, but he does not remember who it belongs to. This is an indication that his fathers Alzheimer’s  is getting worse than before. Jin Woo tells his father that its the ring he gave his mother and to look closely to it. But he does not remember. With tears in his eyes, Jin Woo tells his father to look at him closely he is his son Jin Woo. His father says he does not have a son.

Nam Gyu Man’s assistant is talking to him about Jin Woo. The assistant tells him how successful he has become as a lawyer and that he has a great memory. He also tells him that he will be appealing the case against his father. He tells Nam Gyu Man not to worry about his father because of his illness.

At his office, Dong Ho’s assistant comes in and he tells him to keep an eye on Jin Woo until the trial is over. We then see Jin Woo at an art gallery where Nam Gyu Man’s sister works. The two make small talk about a painting she created. As he leaves we notice Dong Ho watching him from his car. He gets out to talk to Jin Woo. He asks him how he knows Man Gyu Man’s sister, but Jin Woo just walks away. As he does, Dong Ho advises him not to cross the line with Nam Gyu Man or his family.

We then see Nam Gyu Man in his car talking to the head prosecutor about the trial. He learns that Lee In Ah who is a rookie prosecutor will be taking the trial. Nam Gyu Man asks him is there someone with more experience who can take on the trial. At that moment we see Nam Gyu Man and his assistant having a drink with the younger prosecutor. He was about to leave because Nam Gyu Man was going to ask him for a favor in the Vice Presidents trial. He said he did not want to meet with them without any tension. The assistant asks him about dating any girls, and he said he does have his eye on someone. I think it’s Lee In Ah….but we shall see if this plays out. He tells Nam Gyu Man that his sister is like a little sister to him.

Back at his office, the stuttering attorney comes in and tells Jin Woo that he has not found any evidence on video tape about the assault. He tells him to keep looking for it is important he has this for the trial. The head prosecutor tells Lee In Ah to remove herself from the trial and she says she cannot do that. She gets a text from her assistant about the black box recording of the assault. She goes to the parking garage and someone from security gives her a USB and she views it on her tablet. As she is looking at the evidence, we see Dong Ho watching from his car.

At his office, Jin Woo is looking at the videotape evidence that was shown in court. He notices that the person who was in the car is not wearing his wedding ring. The Vice President always wears his wedding ring. Jin Woo then rushes out of his office and into his car. He calls the stuttering attorney and tells him to locate the black box because the video is fake. We then see Jin Woo in the parking lot and a security guard putting a suitcase in his car. Jin Woo proceeds to follow him. We also see Dong Ho’s assistant following Jin Woo and reporting to Dong Ho. Jin Woo follows the security guard to a dock where he meets with Dong Ho’s father figure and other men. Just as Jin Woo is about to go catch him, Dong Ho stops him. But Jin Woo runs after them anyway and he gets beat up by the men.

At court, Jin Woo plays the recording and proves that the video was indeed a fake. The man in the car was not the Vice President. He then calls the intern to the stand. He asks her how did she get the money for her mothers surgery. She used the Vice President to get the money she needed. He then asked her if the man in the video is of the Vice President an she said the Vice President is innocent and didn’t do anything to her.

When the Vice President was found innocent, this made Nam Gyu Man and his father furious. Nam Gyu Man was having a drink with his assistant and Dong Ho and he demanded the lawyer for the VP to come talk to him. Just as he said this, Jin Woo walks in with Nam Gyu Man’s sister. JIn Woo and Nam Gyu Man come face to face and Jin Woo tells him he will see him in court. And that is where our episode ends!

K – Drama Review: Remember Episode 5

Hello Dramatics! I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday with your friends and family. Because of the holiday season, these next few recap episodes are going to be not as lengthy as I am spending the holidays with loved ones as well. With that being said, this review is not going to be as lengthy as my previous ones, but I am going to include the important things that happened in this episode. With that being said, lets get into Episode 5.

We start off seeing Jin Woo on his way to court and he is running late. That’s right…our Jin Woo has graduated law school and is now a licensed lawyer. He also has his own law firm. The stuttering attorney, who represented his father previously,  is now working with him along with another woman.

Lee In Ah is now a successful prosecutor. We see her doing some detective work however because there was a robbery at a nearby hotel.  There she befriends a young lady who was robbed of all her money. She was saving the money for her mothers surgery. Lee In Ah promised to help her find and catch the culprit.

Jin Woo visits his father in prison. At first he does not remember Jin Woo because of his Alzheimer’s. Jin Woo then reaches into his pocket and retrieves his mothers wedding ring and shows it to him. This made his father remember that Jin Woo was his son. Jin Woo then tells his father that he has become a lawyer. He tells his father to trust him and he will help him prove his innocence.

Jin Woo then goes to pay respects to his mother and brother on the anniversary of their death. There he sees Dong Ho doing the same thing for his father who passed away. The two men talk Dong Ho asks Jin Woo about his father and will he help free him now that he has become a lawyer. Jin Woo tells him that he has to make money first. He tells Dong Ho that he has his own law firm and he gave him his business card.

We see Lee In Ah talking to Nam Gyu Man’s sister. It appears that Nam Gyu Man’s sister and the new younger judge are dating. This could cause a big problem knowing how Nam Gyu Man’s father can manipulate and persuade anyone in the court to protect his son from murder. The new younger judge is not immune from this manipulation as well. We will have to see how this plays out in future episodes.

The young lady that Lee In Ah agreed to help from the hotel works for Nam Gyu Man’s fathers insurance company as an intern. We see her entering a party for the Vice President of the company. She seems a bit dazed and confused as she has a seat next to the VP and has a drink with him. A few minutes later we see her bruised and bloody stumbling into the police station. Lee In Ah demands that she become the lead prosecutor of this case. Her boss does not want her to take it because of the nature of the case. She eventually begs her boss until she gets her way. And rightfully so because she promised to help the young lady.

Nam Gyu Man asks Dong Ho to be the lawyer in the case of the VP. Eventually Jin Woo steals the case from him and becomes the lawyer for the Vice President.

On the night in question, the young lady walked the Vice President to his car and as she is about to leave he pulls her back inside. She is then sexually assulted and then we see her leave the car and run away. There is no video of this evidence however. Jin Woo and his assistant are determined to find it for proof.

In court, Lee In Ah accused the Vice President of sexual assault and naturally he denies doing any harm to the young lady. Jin Woo enters the court room to defend and call witnesses for the Vice President. He calls the former teacher of the young lady. She accused him of sexual assault as well but they did not go to court for that because there was a settlement between them . The teacher then says they were lovers. The young lady stood up and yelled at him and she said she loved him even though he was married which is why she asked him for a settlement. Lee In Ah and everyone in the court has a shocked and surprised look on their face after hearing this news. And that’s where this episode ends.

Let me know what you think about this exciting episode. Don’t forget to read my recaps on DramaFever here: Episode 1 & 2  and Episodes 3 & 4 Also check out my You Tube Channel for more updates. Until next time Dramatics remember to Keep Calm And Drama On! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

K – Drama Review: Remember Episode 4

Hello Dramatics! Welcome back! It’s time to get into another episode of Remember. Just as in the previous episode, a lot of things happened in episode 4 too. A lot of shocks and surprises! I am still a bit dumbfounded at some of the events that took place. I will not keep you waiting any more, lets get into Episode 4!

When we last left off, Jin Woo and Lee In Ah are at Dong Ho’s office looking at the evidence of Nam Gyu Man admitting to the murder of Jung Ah. Jin Woo called Dong Ho and he said he will talk to him later. We then see Dong Ho talking to Nam Gyu Man’s father. He says I will help you and you will help me.

We then see Nam Gyu Man driving with his assistant. He asks him if he thinks he can stand trial because he is very afraid of his father disowning him. We learn that Nam Gyu Man is the successor of his father’s company. His assistant tells him that his father already knows because he reported it to him. Nam Gyu Man demands the car be stopped. He gets out and pulls his assistant out and begins assaulting him. He yells at him “I told you not to tell my father!” The assistant tells him that his father already took care of it that’s why the police never mentioned his name. The assistant told him Dong Ho is meeting with his father.

Next we see Dong Ho and Nam Gyu Man’s father discussing the videotaped evidence. Dong Ho tells him that the court may use the video as evidence because Nam Gyu Man was unaware he was being recorded. Dong Ho said if the court does not use the video it will be all over the media and he will make sure everyone sees it. Nam Gyu Man’s father will give Dong Ho whatever he wants not to expose his son. Dong Ho tells him the only thing he wants is for Nam Gyu Man to turn himself in before the trial starts.

At Dong Ho’s office where Jin Woo and Lee In Ah are waiting, Dong Ho enters and Jin Woo tells him he saw the video and knows what happened. Dong Ho tells him he will use the video as evidence and call the doctor as a witness. Dong Ho tells Jin Woo when the court finds out about his fathers medical condition the trial will turn over and his father will be able to go home.

Nam Gyu Man enters his fathers room to have a talk. Our villain kneels before his father and tells him he is sorry and he was wrong for what he had done. His father throws a fencing helmet at him and tells him to put it on. We then hear Nam Gyu Man screaming “I’m sorry father!” as he is getting punished by his father. His father then demands to hear everything that happened that night from beginning to end.

We then see a flashback on the night of Nam Gyu Man’s party. Jung Ah is on the floor in pain crying. Nam Gyu Man is standing over her and he throws money at her to pay her for her “services.” Jung Ah then grabs a glass from the table, breaks it and attacks Nam Gyu Man by cutting him with it on his face. He slapped her but Jung Ah fights him off and runs out of the room and into the kitchen. She is trying to find an exit but instead she runs into Nam Gyu Man. She continues to run away from him until she finds an exit outside. She runs through the woods with Nam Gyu Man on her tail. She falls down and hides behind some lumber hoping no to get caught. Nam Gyu Man finds her, strangles and stabs her until she loses her breath. Nam Gyu Man wakes up the next morning next to the deceased Jung Ah with blood on his face realizing what he has done. He calls his assistant for help and he orders him to get rid of the body and the murder weapon. Most importantly he wants him to protect him and make sure nothing bad happens to him. The assistant tries to call 911 stating that Jung Ah could still be alive, but Nam Gyu Man stops him.

Nam Gyu Man tells his father he had no intention of killing Jung Ah. He did not know he could kill some one so easily. He continues to tell his father he was not thinking rationally. His father scolds him by saying if you are crying and scared because a girl died how are you going to take care of my company.  Nam Gyu Man’s father is talking with his assistant. His father tells the assistant to make sure no one knows about what happened. Nam Gyu Man’s father states that he does have a plan and will reveal it when the time is right. He wants to get rid of Dong Ho and stop him because he knows too much.

At court, Dong Ho sees his father figure and the two men go outside to have a talk. He tells Dong Ho to lose the case. Dong Ho asks him did Nam Gyu Man’s father meet with him and persuade him to lose. Dong Ho brushes him off and walks away into court. While in court, the doctor is on the witness stand. Dong Ho asks him about Jin Woo’s father medical condition. The doctor says he is mentally unstable but is just like any other person. He then lies and says he does not have any symptoms of Alzheimer’s. The doctor also stated that Jin Woo came to him and said to claim his father has Alzheimer’s….again…lies. The prosecutor  then calls Jin Woo to the witness stand.

The court is in recess and Dong Ho talks to his father figure again. He asks him did Nam Gyu Man’s father promise him anything and he said he promised to help him with construction of a shopping mall. Just then we see a flashback of a young Dong Ho with his father. The two are in a truck and his father seems very nervous. He looks out of the window and sees the police chase him. His father tells him when I am gone the man who is his father figure will be his new father. His father gets into an accident and he dies on the scene. This is the same truck that hit Jin Woo and his family in the previous episode.

The next day in court, the prosecutor asks Jin Woo if the doctor provided a false test and he said no. Jin Woo then stood up and said someone else killed Jung Ah….Nam Gyu Man. The prosecutor asked if he has evidence and Jin Woo said yes there is a video tape confession. Jin Woo then asks Dong Ho to show the video tape, but he betrays him and does not. He tells the court there is no such evidence and Jin Woo is mistaken. Jin Woo is very hurt by this and does not understand why Dong Ho, someone he trusted, is betraying him. Jin Woo begs for Dong Ho to show the tape but he just stands there silent. Jin Woo is removed from the court screaming and begging Dong Ho to show the tape.

Jung Ah’s father is grieving the loss of his daughter. He watches video tapes of her as a young child as he breaks down and cries. He then enters her room and reads her diary. He finds out that she had a singing job at the villa of Nam Gyu Man. He also finds a business card and calls the prosecutor. He tells him that she went to work for someone at the company and he cannot allow an innocent person to be punished for his daughters death. He begs him to find the real criminal.  We then see the prosecutor talking to Nam Gyu Man’s father. We then find out that Jung Ah’s father committed suicide.

In court, a co worker of Jin Woo’s father takes the stand. She tells the court that he hid something in his room. They produce the murder weapon which had blood on it that matches Jung Ah. As the closing argument is read, the court finds Jin Woo’s father guilty and sentenced to death.

Nam Gyu Man visits Dong Ho’s office to retrieve the copy of the video. Dong Ho gives it to him and he walks outside. Jin Woo sees Nam Gyu Man get into his car and he tries to chase it down. He then sees Dong Ho exit the building and he runs over to him and punches him in the face. He starts yelling at him because he was betrayed by Dong Ho and he put his trust in him. Jin Woo states that he will finish what he started and he will never trust another lawyer.

Jin Woo attends the funeral of Jung Ah’s father. He does not get a good reaction as he enters the building to pay his respects. Jung Ah’s mother slaps him in the face and asks him why he is there. His father killed her entire family. Jin Woo pays his respects and then leaves. He has a suitcase in his hand.

Four years later, we see Lee In Ah as a prosecutor. Jin Woo enters the courtroom as a lawyer for his father. And that’s where our episode ends.

Wow what an intense episode! So much happened here. I can’t believe that Dong Ho betrayed Jin Woo however I can understand wanting to protect his father figure. I can also understand Nam Gyu Man’s father wanting to protect him too but his son is a murderer. I am looking forward to seeing how Jin Woo will be as a lawyer. I have a feeling he will do the right thing and help his father prove his innocence.  Let me know what you think! Leave a comment below and lets have a discussion. K – Drama Review: Remember Episode 3

Hello Dramatics! I am back again with another review for the K – Drama Remember. We are now on Episode 3 of this amazing and intense drama! I must say I am really enjoying this drama so far. The acting is amazing and the character development is spectacular. Have you been watching with me? What are your thoughts so far? Without further adieu, lets get into Episode 3!

The last time we saw Jin Woo, he was at Dong Ho’s office with a large amount of money. He dumped the money out of his backpack onto Dong Ho’s desk and begs for him to help defend his father in court. Dong Ho refuses, brushes him off, and kicks him and Lee In Ah out of his office. When he is outside, Jin Woo begs Dong Ho’s assistants to help him, but they just tell him to go home. We then see Dong Ho in his office and we flashback to when he was younger and he begged his father figure for money to help his father. He also remembers when Jin Woo did the same to him moments before.

At dinner, Dong Ho is talking to a woman and he shows her a video of Jung Ah being assaulted. The woman agreed to help him and he tells her he will play the footage in court. He tells her when the judge looks at her she is supposed to cry. Just then Dong Ho gets a call from his assistant. He tells him the reason why Nam Gyu Man went to the rooftop of the construction site. Then he mentions Jung Ah’s name which sounds familiar to Dong Ho. He now knows Nam Gyu Man had a party and invited Jung Ah to sing and she followed him into his house.

Dong Ho enters the court room to help Jin Woo’s father as his attorney. Dong Ho presents Jin Woo’s father with a contract he must sign in order to be his attorney. Jin Woo’s father signs and his former attorney leaves the courtroom. Dong Ho talks to Jin Woo and tells him he knows something about the night in question. Just when he said that, a strange man gets up and leaves the courtroom to take a phone call. The man is on the phone with Nam Gyu Man’s assistant. Nam Gyu Man’s assistant tells him that there is a new attorney and it’s Dong Ho.

In court, Dong Ho makes his argument and requests an continuance because he needs to find his witness. He tells the judge he only needs one day and the judge agrees. Outside Dong Ho talks to the prosecutor and tells him he will have a fair trial by bringing in the criminal.

Dong Ho has a conversation with Jin Woo and his father. Dong Ho asks him if the killed Jung Ah. It appears that Dong Ho does not believe he is innocent. Jin Woo asks him how is he different from the other attorney. Dong Ho responds that he only wants to know the truth. Dong Ho reveals a written statement that Jin Woo’s father signed saying that he killed Jung Ah.  JIn Woo’s father said he was threatened to sign the document.

We flashback to when Jin Woo’s father was arrested. He is not taken to the police station but instead he is taken to a warehouse. There the detective made him sign a document that he killed Jung Ah. He refuses to sign the document because he is innocent and he tells the detective that he did not kill anyone. The detective then puts a gun to his head and says if he does not sign he will find and kill Jin Woo. Jin Woo’s father tells Dong Ho that he did not kill Jung Ah.

Later at his office, Jin Woo gives Dong Ho the bag of money he earned to pay him for defending his father. Dong Ho gives the money back to him. He tells Jin Woo if he wins the case to promise him he will go to law school and become a lawyer. Dong Ho then takes out a bill from the bag and makes Jin Woo sign it as a promise contract. Dong Ho then tells Jin Woo he can help him in the case by using his memory starting from the moment that his father was arrested. Jin Woo begins to remember every moment from that day in great detail. Dong Ho asks Jin Woo about details he remembers from the day his father was arrested. Jin Woo remembers the detectives weapon which had his initials on it.

At court, the judge calls for witnesses. Dong Ho tells him his witness will be arriving shortly. The prosecutor calls a witness and the detective who arrested Jin Woo’s father enters the court. He questions him and of course he lies and says that Jin Woo’s father was very drunk when the crime was reported.

Dong Ho then calls his witness to the stand and it’s the same detective who arrested Jin Woo’s father. Dong Ho begins to question him and he asks if he illegally held Jin Woo’s father for three days and made him sign a document stating he killed Jung Ah. And of course he says no he did not do that. He then asks him is it true you threatened him with a gun pointed at his head, and he said no. Just then, Jin Woo’s father stood up and yelled “You’re lying! Tell the truth!” Dong Ho asked the detective to see his weapon. He describes the weapon and asks him if his initials are on it. The detective takes out his weapon and his initials are indeed engraved on it.

Outside the courtroom, news reporters are talking to Dong Ho. He tells the press the culprit is someone else, not Jin Woo’s father. He says to the camera, if you are watching the news turn yourself in or I will find you and catch you myself.

At Nam Gyu Man’s house, we see him talking to his father. Just then the news comes on and we see Dong Ho talking to the press. Nam Gyu Man’s father tells him to keep a low profile then he gets a phone call. It’s Nam Gyu Man’s assistant. He asks his assistant if he saw the news, but his assistant does not believe Dong Ho knows anything and he is bluffing. Nam Gyu Man thinks otherwise and he tells his assistant to make sure he does not talk to his father because he is more afraid of his father than going to court.

At the doctor’s office, Jin Woo learns that his father is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Jin Woo asks the doctor what happens if my did goes to prison. And the doctor tells him it will be difficult to get the medical treatment he needs. The doctor agreed to comply if Jin Woo needed help in court.

Jin Woo visits Dong Ho’s office and tells him his father is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Dong Ho tells him not to worry because this will help him with the case and he agreed to talk to the doctor. The two go out to eat and when Dong Ho brings Jin Woo home, Lee In Ah sees them. She confronts Jin Woo and tells him not to trust Dong Ho because he has a bad reputation. He tells her that his father is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and Dong Ho is the only one he can trust now.

While working out, Dong Ho suddenly gets a phone call and his assistant tells him that everything is ready to go. We then see Nam Gyu Man step out of a car and enter a club. There he is degrading women by asking them to bark like a dog and lick alcohol from a bowl. If they do this successfully he will give them the key to his car. One woman volunteers but she fails. Nam Gyu Man kicks her out, but as she leaves she turns a pack of cigarettes towards him. Inside the pack of cigarettes is a hidden camera. A man who was at the party when Jung Ah was killed entered the room and talks to Nam Gyu Man.

The girl from the club runs outside and into a van where Dong Ho and his assistant have set up surveillance cameras to watch Nam Gyu Man. As they listen to the conversation, the man asks Nam Gyu Man about the night in question and why he did that to Jung Ah. He said she made him feel like crap, she scarred his face first and he did not know he would kill someone that easily. The man then asks about Jin Woo’s father who is in prison, and he said that’s not his problem. The man begins to look for a cigarette and he finds the hidden bug in the pack on the table. Now that Dong Ho has been caught, he knows that Nam Gyu Man will look for him.

As predicted, Nam Gyu Man visits Dong Ho at his office. Dong Ho tells him that he is preparing documents for the trial and he has evidence. Dong Ho puts a DVD in his computer which is Nam Gyu Man admitting to the murder of Jung Ah. Nam Gyu Man is furious at this point so he picks up the computer and throws it across the room destroying the evidence. But our Dong Ho is one smart cookie. He reveals another copy of the disk from his desk. Nam Gyu Man tries to pay Dong Ho money to get rid of the evidence. Dong Ho refused his money,  Nam Gyu Man attacked him and Dong Ho’s assistant pulled him away.

In the car,  Nam Gyu Man is still fureious. He wanted to kill Dong Ho but could not do it. He asked his assistant what to do about Dong Ho because he promised to protect him. Nam Gyu Man then asked his assistant what did you do with that thing, meaning the murder weapon. He said he wiped the fingerprints off and thew it away. Nam Gyu Man does not believe him. The car is turned around and they go back to the villa where the murder took place.

At the villa, we see Jin Woo and Lee In Ah. The two of them sneak in and hide behind the bar. Nam Gyu Man enter and go to the bar and he gets a drink. He does not see Jin Woo or Lee In Ah hiding there. The two then sneak into the dressing room where Jung Ah was. Jin Woo remembers the red dress that was hanging on the rack is missing. He remembers seeing the dress on Jung Ah when he found her in the woods. He realizes that Jung Ah was at the villa before she died. Nam Gyu Man is talking to his assistant and they hear a noise from the dressing room. The assistant enters first and does not find anything, meanwhile Jin Woo and Lee In Ah are hiding behind a dresser. Nam Gyu Man enters and the assistant says the noise was nothing.

We then see Jin Woo and Lee In Ah running away trough the kitchen trying to find an exit. The assistant runs into another room and he lifts a picture from the wall and there he has hidden the bloody murder weapon wrapped in a cloth. We learn he did not throw it away as Nam Gyu Man instructed. Why would he keep it and hid the weapon from him?

Jin Woo and Lee In Ah go to Dong Ho’s office but he is not there. We see Dong Ho meeting with Nam Gyu Man’s father. Lee In Ah finds the DVD evidence of Nam Gyu Man admitting murder. Jin Woo comes over to the computer to invistate and he is shocked to see that he confessed the crime. He now knows that his father was indeed framed for murder and is innocent. And that is where our episode ends.

As you can see a lot went on in this episode! There are a lot of questions that need answers. Why does Nam Gyu Man’s assistant have the murder weapon? Does he plan to use this against him? Why is Dong Ho talking to Nam Gyu Man’s father? Will he show his father the video he has of his son admitting the crime? I hope these questions will be answered in the next episode! Let me know what you think! Are you enjoying this drama as much as I am? I have to admit I have cried watching every episode so far. This drama definately has me in my feelings! Don’t forget to catch my review of this drama on my You Tube Channel  I am also reviewing this drama for DramaFever Drama Club and you can check out my review here of Remember Episodes 1 & 2  Alright Dramatics I will talk to you next time! K – Drama Review: Remember Episode 2

Hello Dramatics ! I am back once again with a review of Remember! We are now on Episode 2 and I am sure we will learn more about our characters and more about the story. Without further adieu, lets get started.

We start off with Jin Woo’s father having a dream about Jung Ah running in the woods. Someone is chasing her and she trips and falls on some rocks and attacked. Jin Woo’s father wakes up from his dream in jail. JIn Woo visits him and he tells him not to worry and someone will find a good lawyer for him when the trial starts. An attorney enters the room and talks to Jin Woo’s father.  He advises him to plead guilty to reduce his prison term by one year. Of course he refuses to do this because he is innocent. The attorney then tells him that because he applied for a jury trial so when the judge asks him how to plead he will say nothing, as if he is innocent, and the attorney will speak for him. His father says what do you mean “as if” I am innocent. Jin Woo jumps in and questions the attorney because he does not believe his father is innocent. He is worried about the outcome.

Jin Woo’s father is bought into court, bounded and escorted by police. Reporters and other paparazzi are outside of the court building shouting murderer and death penalty. Jin Woo is waiting to see his father and Lee In Ah looks on. When one of the reporters recognized Jin Woo, they rush over and grab him. As they do they break off his necklace with a ring around it. As the police hold the crowd back, the reporters begin to throw eggs at Jin Woo.

Park Dong Ho is in the bathroom and sees the attorney for Jin Woo’s father. The attorney is throwing up from partying the night before. He is very nervous about the trial. It is obvious that he is inexperienced. This is his first time in court and he does not know what he is doing. Jin Woo is at the bathroom door listening to the two men talk then walks away.

At the trial, Jin Woo waits nervously as they bring his father in. His lawyer is very nervous and sweating. He also stutters when he speaks, so it is very difficult to understand him at times.  Jin Woo’s father is accused of murder and rape of Jung Ah. He pleads not guilty and the judge asks the attorney if he is OK because of his nerves and stuttering. The trial continues and we learn that there was no DNA found because the murderer used a contraceptive. She was strangled and hit in the head with an object and then stabbed multiple times. No one asked for evidence so this is only speculation at this point.  While court is in recess, Dong Ho has a chat with the attorney. And Lee In Ah returns the necklace to Jin Woo that was broken off his neck.

The trial continues and the prosecutor questions JIn Woo’s father. He does not remember any of the details about that night. He continues to ask him questions like: Do you know her?  What were you doing on this night? How did you get there? Jung Ah’s father is so upset he gets up and rushes and tries to attack Jin Woo’s father, but Dong Ho stops him before he can do any harm. When Jin Woo’s father is being led back to jail, he tells Jin Woo to visit his mothers grave because it’s the anniversary of her death. He also tells him to wear the nice suit that is hanging in the closet.

Outside, Jin Woo looks up Dong Ho’s information on the internet. He sees that he has a 100% success rate and he always wins every case in court. On the bus, Lee In Ah tries to console JIn Woo but he just brushes him off. She tells him that her father is the owner of the pizza shop next door and she offered to bring him food later.

Later we see Nam Gyu Man watching the news report about the murder. He gets a phone call. He goes to a construction site and meets someone who was at his party the night before. He mentions that the girl was murdered on the same day and time of his party. He then asks him if he did it. Just as he was about to answer, Dong Ho comes in and interrupts the conversation. Naturally, Nam Gyu Man is very upset when he sees him and tells him to go away, but Dong Ho does not leave. Dong Ho says Nam Gyu Man killed the young college student based on evidence from his client plus he knows details about the night in question. Nam Gyu Man begins to beat up Dong Ho until he is bloody. Nam Gyu Man is about to throw Dong Ho over the building, but across the street on another building we see Dong Ho’s assistants video taping the entire incident. As Dong Ho leaves, Nam Gyu Man asks him why he went this far to get beat up? Is your client your father? To that, Dong Ho just walks off.

We then flashback to a young Dong Ho attending his father’s funeral. The man he is defending is a family friend and gangster. He tells a young Dong Ho to study hard in school and to study law and not be a criminal as he is. He gave Dong Ho a large sum of money for his college tuition.

We also see a flash back to a young Jin Woo and his family. His younger brother, mother and father are all in the car on their way to an amusement park. The family was stopped at a red light and when it turned green another car slammed into them killing Jin Woo’s mother and brother instantly. The only survivors were him and his father.

As Jin Woo is paying respect to his family at the cemetery, he sees Dong Ho who is doing the same. Jin Woo asks him if he is a lawyer and he says yes. Then Jin Woo begins to tell him everything he remembers when he visits his father’s grave. He continues to tell Dong Ho that his father was framed for murder and he is in need of a good lawyer to defend his father so he asks him for help. Dong Ho refuses because clients that come to him have to pay a lot of money. Jin Woo begs him to help his father again outside, and once again Dong Ho refuses.

When he returns home, Jin Woo finds a group of neighbors surrounded at his house. They have sprayed graffiti all over this front door. They begin yelling at him saying that they do not want to live next to a criminal. Lee In Ah hears the commotion and comes to break the crowd up. When she threatens to sue them all, they all agree to leave.

The next day, Jin Woo who is dressed very nice leaves his house and notices a pizza that Lee In Ah left for him. As he is about to get into a taxi, Lee In Ah sees him and stops him. He tells her that he needs to get some money in order to help his father. He then gets into another taxi and drives off. Lee In Ah follows the taxi to see where he is going. We find out he is going to see Dong Ho and he once again begs him to help his father, and once again he refuses. Jin Woo empties out a bag full of money on his desk. Dong Ho asks him how he made so much money so fast. Jin Woo said he earned it on one night. We then see a flashback on how Jin Woo made the money. He was gambling at a casino and was making money so fast the owner accused him of cheating. Jin Woo wasn’t cheating but instead he remembered the card sequence and that’s how he earned so much money so fast.  When the owner confronted him, Lee In Ah walks in with pizza and asks if anyone ordered. They all say no, then she takes a 2 liter of Coke and sprays everyone in the casino with it. Jin Woo and Lee In Ah run away and eventually get away from them without getting caught.

At trial, Jin Woo’s father is bought into court and cross examination starts but his father has no witnesses. Then just like a super hero who comes in to save the day, Dong Ho enters in a bright colored suit looking like he is ready to get down to business! And that is where our episode ends.

Wow I can not wait for the next episode! I am hoping that Dong Ho agrees to help Jin Woo’s father. He is his only hope at this point. Also I know it’s early but I predict a romance to blossom between Lee In Ah and Jin Woo too. We shall see if my predictions are correct in future episodes. Let me know what you think so far! Any predictions you have? What do you think about Nam Gyu Man? Who do you think the real murderer is? Leave a comment and let me know. Until then Dramatics Remember to Keep Calm And Drama On!

K – Drama Review: Remember Episode 1

Hello Dramatics! I am back again with another review for you! This is for the K – Drama Remember.  I will be reviewing this drama for DramaFever Drama Club and I am very excited! Remember stars: Yoo Seung Ho as Seo Jin Woo, Park Min Young as Lee In Ah, Park Sung Woong as Park Dong Ho, Nam Goong Min as Nam Gyu Man, Jung Hye Sung, and Han Jin Hee as Nam Il Ho. Without further ado, lets get into the first episode.

We start off with an older gentleman who is being escorted by the police down a dark hallway the way he is dressed and shackled, we see he is a prisoner. They are taking him to be executed. As he begs for his life, on the other side of the window we see a Jin Woo. He looks on in horror as his father is about to be sentenced to death. Jin Woo begs the guards to spare his fathers life. Jin Woo’s father yells  “Jin Woo to tell them I am not a criminal”, and “You said you would get me out of here.” Then the noose is tied around his neck and he is hanged to death.  But it was all a dream.

In the next scene we see Jin Woo waking up from the dream about his father. We then see Jin Woo visiting his father in prison. As the two begin to talk, we notice that Jin Woo’s father has Alzheimer’s Disease and Jin Woo is his lawyer. It is very sad to watch Jin Woo’s father like this because he does not remember any thing that has happened to him. He does not even remember his own son. Jin Woo will appeal his father case in court. His father is accused of murder and rape of a twenty year old college student, but he has no memory of this incident. We also learn that Jin Woo has a very special talent. He has the ability to remember everything in detail. We learn that Jin Woo’s father has been in jail for four years and most importantly he has been framed for murder.

We flash back to four years ago and we see Jin Woo and his father having breakfast. Jin Woo is preparing to be on a TV show because his memory is spectacular. Then the doorbell rings and we meet a young girl named Jung Ah and her father. The two families are good friends as Jung Ah and her father bring food to Jin Woo and his father.

Next we meet a man who is singing in the shower and he has a large dragon tattoo on his back. We then see a half naked woman emerge from the bed and she follows him into the closet. She begs him to stay with her, but he says he has to go to court. This charismatic lawyer is named Park Dong Ho. He wears flashy bright colored suits and he has a one hundred percent success rate of all the cases he defends.

Jin Woo calls his father before he takes the bus to the TV station for his appearance. As the two talk, we learn that Jin Woo’s father works at a hotel as a janitor.

When Jin Woo is on the bus, an incident happens when a young girl’s wallet is stolen. She accused Jin Woo because he bumped into her when he was getting off the bus. She noticed that her purse is slit at the bottom and her wallet was removed. She demands the driver to stop the bus and drive directly to the police station. At the station, Jin Woo questions the girl named Lee In Ah, about the details of the incident. Of course she does not remember every single detail in every order in which it happened, but Jin Woo does. He remembers in great detail who was sitting next to Lee In Ah on the bus, what they were wearing, the bus number, and the time. We also learn that Lee In Ah is a law student who knows the law by reciting the articles of the law. As the moment is replayed, we find out that Lee In Ah’s purse was slit and wallet stolen before she got on the bus. Jin Woo saw this happen in great detail. The persons wanted poster is on the wall in the police station and he is later found and arrested thanks to the help of Jin Woo. Outside of the police station, Jin Woo confronts Lee In Ah who accused him of stealing her wallet. He basically tells her to make sure she gets her facts correct before accusing innocent people. He also adds that he could have gotten arrested.

As Park Dong Ho is talking to his client he will be representing in court, we learn a little bit about  our villian in this drama, Nam Gyu Man. He is rich, powerful, handsome and very mean. He always demands respect where ever he goes. An example of this is when he enters the building to go to his office everyone bows to him. However there was one person who was now bowing low enough and Nam Gyu Man pushed his head down lower. Also when Nam Gyu Man was in the car with his assistant, he scolded him. He wanted to make sure his assistant prepared his vacation home for a party that he wanted to have. He also requested a singer who sings trot music to entertain the crowd. After his assistant made a small mistake in the planning, Nam Gyu Man left him on the side of the road. However, not far behind, we see Dong Ho and his assistant following Nam Gyu Man and taking pictures of his car.

Lee In Ah’s parents own a Papa John’s Pizza restaurant which is not far from where Jin Woo lives. As she enters the shop, the TV is on and a news reporter states that a person was arrested for pic-pocketing. They then show a picture of Jin Woo who was the reason why he was caught. Then she changes the channel and she sees Jin Woo on the TV show because he has a outstanding memory reciting the number for Pi. Lee In Ah is very impressed by him.

Later we see Nam Gyu Man’s assistant bringing a singer to his house. As he is bringing her inside, she notices Jin Woo’s father working. He does not see her, but she hides her face from him. The assistant asked if she knew him and she said that’s her father’s neighbor. Jin Woo tells his assistant to tell Jin Woo’s father to do home for the night, and he does. As they walk further inside, we see a lot of drinking, dancing, and half naked women roaming around. The singer is very uncomfortable and is not sure if she wants to be there. But she has to do it or else she will not get her college tuition paid. So she gets dressed and goes through with the performance.

Meanwhile, Jin Woo is waiting for his father to get home. He calls him multiple times, but he does not answer. His father is at the store buying Jin Woo a new phone because his current one has a cracked screen. When he asks the sales clerk which phone would be best for Jin Woo, she tells him that he was there last week buying a phone. Unfortunately, he does not remember.

As the singer begins to sing at Nam Gyu Man’s party, he suddenly stops the band from playing. He is drunk and yelling at the singer to sing something different. He does not like that song and he asked for a trot singer. The singer, who is very afraid, begins to sing a different song for him. After the performance we see the singer getting changed. All of a sudden, a drunk Nam Gyu Man enters with a bottle of soju and two glasses and asks her to drink with him. We do not see what happens next, but I have a feeling that this is not going to be good.

The next day, Jin Woo’s father calls him. Jin Woo asks his father where he is, but he does not know. His father is wondering in the woods alone with the phone he bought in his hand. Suddenly, Jin Woo’s father finds the body of the singer from Nam Gyu Man’s party. She is obviously dead. He tries to call 911, but he cannot remember the pass code to his phone. Jin Woo finds his father kneeling beside the body of the singer.

In the next scene, Jin Woo’s father is in the hospital. Detectives question him about the dead girl in the woods. The more questions they ask, the more his father does not remember. He tells them he does not know who the girl is and he does not know how he got to the woods. After the hospital visit, Jin Woo goes home and finds that his father has bought multiple phones and multiple of other items. At this point, it dawns on him that his father is losing his memory.

The next day at the hospital, the doctor gives Jin Woo’s father a memory test and he passes it. The detective goes to the prosecutor and tells him he has questioned suspects but found nothing unusual. The prosecutor is threatened that everyone will be fired if he does not find the culprit. He goes to the last page of the list of suspects and it’s a picture of Jin Woo’s father. He has three days to confess to the murder of the Jung Ah.

At Jung Ah’s funeral, JIn Woo’s father is arrested by the police and charged with murder of Jung Ah. Jin Woo begs him not to take his father away. So they drive somewhere that is not the police station but some type of a warehouse. When Jin Woo goes home he finds his house if ransacked and ruined.

It is now  all over the news that JIn Woo’s father is charged with murder.  When Jin Woo visits his father in jail, his father does not remember him at first, but he finally does remember him. As his father is being bought to court, there are a lot of reporters outside waiting for him. Jin Woo is far behind, suddenly, one of the reporters recognizes Jin Woo and the crowd of reporters rush to attack him. The police hold them back, but people start throwing eggs at Jin Woo as he stands there crying and upset about the events that took place. And that’s where our episode ends. Wow!
