Hello Dramatics! I’m back again with another exciting review for Remember Episode 8. Things are starting to heat up as our Jin Woo is now accused of murder and on the run. Without further adieu lets see what happens to our favorite lawyer.

We left off with Lee In Ah visiting Jin Woo’s apartment after seeing his mugshot on the news. Jin Woo as been accused of murdering his father’s former co worker who gave a false testimony on the stand in court.  Lee In Ah discovers Jin Woo’s secret back room where he has collected all of the evidence of his fathers case. Jin Woo tells her that he has fallen into a trap made by Nam Gyu Man. All of a sudden, Dong Ho enters the office and Lee In Ah comes out from the back room to stall him. As the two talk, we see Jin Woo gathering some of things to take with him when he escapes. Dong Ho reminded Lee In Ah that she is a prosecutor who catches criminals. She then promises him that she will catch the person who framed Jin Woo’s father for murder.

We then see the detective meeting with Nam Gyu Man. The detective tells him that Jin Woo escaped and he is not pleased. The detective promises to catch Jin Woo and bring him back to Nam Gyu Man. Dong Ho walks into the office and asks him if Jin Woo’s situation was set up by him and of course he denies. Dong Ho tells him as his attourney he must know all of the truth. Nam Guy Man tells him not to worry about it because if anything goes wrong his father figure will take care of it. Dong Ho is shocked that his father figure has anything to do with this set up. Dong Ho then meets with his father figure and he tells him that Nam Gyu Man set it all up and he just provided the hit man. He tells Dong Ho that the sooner Jin Woo is caught, the better it will be for the both of them.

We then see Jin Woo walking in the street and he is wearing a trench coat and a baseball cap. He almost gets caught by police, but is able to evade them. He goes to a nearby hotel and asks for a room with no windows. While standing on the rooftop, Jin Woo’s office manager comes to see him. It appears she knew the location of the hotel and the room number he would be staying in. She brings him some of his things from the office. We then learn the backstory of Jin Woo’s office manager. She was a General Affiars Manager who was physcially abused by her husband. Jin Woo heard the fight between them and barged in and stopped him from hitting her further. The two have been close friends since he saved her from that horrible marriage.

The younger judge sees the news report that Jin Woo is wanted for murder and he denies his appeal on his fathers case. The original judge calls Nam Gyu Man and tells him that the case has been turned over because Jin Woo is a murderer. Nam Gyu Man ordered him to catch Jin Woo and he agreed. Nam Gyu Man and his assistant are driving and he asks his assistant to turn the car around so he can meet with Jin Woo’s father.

Nam Gyu Man meets with Jin Woo’s father in prison. He told Jin Woo’s father because he is sick he should pay for the crime he committed. Nam Gyu Man was making his father feel even more guilty of murder by intimidating him. Nam Gyu Man asked his father about Jin Woo and he said you mean my lawyer. Nam Gyu Man told him that Jin Woo has committed a murder just like he has. Jin Woo’s father did not believe that he is capable of that. Nam Gyu Man asks him how would you know that and you don’t remember him. Nam Gyu Man then exits the prison with his assistant.

Jin Woo calls Lee In Ah and the two of them meet. She asks for an explanation of why Nam Gyu Man set him up and he tells her when he went to see the woman she was already dead. He figured out that Nam Gyu Man found out about the retrial and got to him first. He tells her he must prove innocent as soon as possible to save his father. Lee In Ah told him to go to the police and turn himself in, but Jin Woo cannot do that because they will create false proof and make him a murderer.

The stuttering attorney enters the office looking for Jin Woo. The office manager tells him he knows where Jin Woo is and she shows him his secret back room with all of the evidence from his fathers case. She told him that Nam Gyu Man is the real murderer of the college student. The stuttering attorney had no idea all of this was going on and the look on his face of shock was priceless.  Lee In Ah leaves the office and she notices she is being followed by the detective. She confronts him and he asks her if she is hiding Jin Woo. She promises she will catch everyone who is involved with the murder of the college student including him. The detective then calls the former judge and reports what Lee In Ah is doing. He tells the detective to look for strange activity and report back to him.

On the rooftop, Jin Woo is greeted by his office manager and the stuttering attorney. He is shocked and happy to see Jin Woo. Back in his room, Jin Woo requests they find him a car, a phone, and a loyal news reporter. Jin Woo shows his co workers the USB with all of the financial records of Il Ho Group. His request is to broadcast his findings live to the world so Jin Woo gets into his car, calls a reporter and tells him he has Il Ho Group’s financial records. While having dinner, Nam Gyu Man gets a phone call from Jin Woo. Jin Woo is playing Nam Gyu Man’s game by threatening to broadcast live the financial records of Il Ho Group if he does not turn himself in. Angry, Nam Gyu Man pays a visit to Dong Ho because he was not monitoring Jin Woo carefully. Nam Gyu Man mentioned the financial records which was given to Jin Woo by the Vice President as collateral for winning the trial. Dong Ho offered to help by tracking down the phone records but that is not enough for Nam Gyu Man. He tells Dong Ho to bring Jin Woo to him so they can meet face to face.

With phone records in hand, Dong Ho and his assistant find someone who will track the number and find Jin Woo whereabouts. Nam Gyu Man and his father see the news that Il Ho Group’s financial records will be released. Lee In Ah calls Jin Woo and asks him about the news report and what are his plans. Jin Woo says this is the only way to do this then hangs up. The former judge calls the news reporter and threatens him not to run the story or else a hit and run case he cleaned up for him will become open again. The judge tells the detective that he needs to find Jin Woo and the news reporter or else.

Jin Woo is about to go live with what he promised and he calls Nam Gyu Man and tells him to make sure he watches what he will do. As the news report team is setting up equipment, the detective arrives to the hotel to find Jin Woo. We see Jin Woo in front of the camera about to expose Il Ho Group. The detective enters the room where the recording is going to be held, but Jin Woo is not there because he is in the wrong room. Just as he is making his report, Dong Ho enters the room and stops Jin Woo.

In the car, Dong Ho ties up Jin Woo and puts tape over his mouth. When Lee In Ah calls Jin Woo, Dong Ho throws his phone out of the car window. Dong Ho told him that he will not have to face Nam Gyu Man if they would take care of everything right there. His plan is to take Jin Woo somewhere to cool off for a bit and not hurt him. Dong Ho gets a call from Nam Gyu Man and he tells him to bring Jin Woo to him. Dong Ho tells Jin Woo that he will have to face Nam Gyu Man.

Nam Gyu Man enters the warehouse and sees Jin Woo tied up and gagged. He burns up the financial records and USB that was going to be used against Il Ho Group. Nam Gyu Man then begins to slap and punch Jin Woo knocking him out of his chair. Nam Gyu Man begins to tell Jin Woo he is in the place the detective bought his father when he was arrested. And he also told him he visited his father in prison. All this does is enrage a helpless Jin Woo and the only thing he can do is scream at him. He wants to hit him so badly, but his hands are bound behind his back. When Nam Gyu Man leaves, the detective unties him and tells him to run. When Jin Woo gets up, the detective points a gun to his back. Dong Ho stops him from shooting and the two get into a scuffle. Dong Ho tells Jin Woo to run away and he does.

Jin Woo meets Lee In Ah and she shows him evidence she gathered in the older woman’s murder. She died by strangulation with a fishing line. Using his good memory, Jin Woo tells her that killer has a scorpion tattoo on his hand. The next day, Jin Woo left a note for Lee In Ah stating that he borrowed her phone. She soon discovered that Jin Woo was going to find the real murderer of the older woman. Soon, she follows Jin Woo to the same location. We see Jin Woo walking asking for clues about the murderer. Dong Ho is looking for the culprit before Jin Woo gets a hold of him.  Lee In Ah sees the culprit at a grocery store and follows him. When she makes a phone call she is struck on the back of the head by someone and falls down. And that’s where our episode ends.
